Experience change with eco-friendly identity of Videocon
The 'V' in the new Videocon logo is composed of two animated green, lava-like shapes – called Chouw and Mouw, which are 'live' characters and will be used to tell simple stories through a series of short videos. Both have certain personality traits, based on their physical attributes.
The present campaign that announces the change comprises five TVCs, of which one is already on-air. Each commercial is a short story of someone in need of help. Chouw and Mouw come to the rescue and spread happiness and joy through their charm, kindness and efforts.
For the launch party, Chouw and Mouw were flown all the way to San Francisco, parce que, Shah Rukh Khan, brand ambassador, Videocon, was there shooting for Karan Johar's My Name Is Khan. "Khan is our brand ambassador and will be seen in the new campaigns very soon.

Design in India
Design in India is an online resource site which gives very relevant and no nonsense information about design in India proving true to it's name.
of course the site is a live example of UI design in web. such a lot of info presented in a very structured manner. it has cut unnecessary glitter of glossy visual design but kept the core beautiful. what the site is addressing is the need of the user rather than showing them master skill of visual expression.
We were planning to do a listing of animation related resources in India and you know it will take time and hard work to do so. but 'Design in India' has done it perfectly. I don't think I will match their standard at the moment. So, I will borrow their links and share here for you.
reliable information about Animation@ Design in India:

Motion India
I was not surprised when I got invitation from Sharad to write for a blog. as I read the mail I remember the idea he often shared about creating a blog about animation and film from the Indian perspective. I thought it was a great idea and I am thrilled that he thought I could be an author for the blog called MOTION INDIA.
here one rough logo which I churned out in MS ppt for motion India.
let us make this happen. Good going Sharad!
